Is there anything more capitalism than NFTs?

capitalism

@pandora_parrot
Yes there is, but this'll be just a sample of what's going to happen in the next 15 years if this trends keeps going downwards really badly.

@pandora_parrot
Currency is a form of establishing a state that controls the populace by establishing boundaries, rules, and places where and how that currency should be mostly traded.
If there is polarization, the currency would be in the middle of that polarization - mostly wherever the wealthiest capital is located at.

I do not have a problem with currency. My problem is that I disagree with people.

@pandora_parrot
Likewise I do not have a problem with cryptocurrencies. But it will be, / more often than not /, a state which I would quite possibly disagree with on whom rules it, who manages it, and where is the wealth circulating (is it being stored around one place/ area; who rules it: are the kind of people that rule it have known-to-be criminalized activities...) etc.

capitalism

@pandora_parrot
Then again, it is only /a/ form of control.

capitalism

@pandora_parrot billionaires, broadly speaking

capitalism

@pandora_parrot literally peak capitalism. NFT supporters trying tell us that it's good for us, that it's good for artists.

I've seen people say "have fun being poor"

I'd rather be dirt poor than contribute to the death of our planet

capitalism

@Claire What kind of horrible human being would say "Have fun being poor" to another human being?!

That's like "Let them eat cake" in terms of how horrible that is.

capitalism

@pandora_parrot unfortunately they exist and it sucks so bad
